PayManila FAQ

  • What is PayManila?
  • PayManila is a one-stop solution for the special needs of Pinoys earning online, and the Pinoy OFWs. Our goal is to help you take care of your folks back home by settling simple tasks like paying their bills, reload their cell phone credits, etc.
  • Are you a remittance center?
  • No, we are not. Nor are we a payment processor. However, if you need the services of a remittance center or a payment processor, we are willing to help you, and point you to the right direction.
  • Do you have a landline? How can we contact you?
  • Sorry, we do not provide any landline number. However, you may reach us via email and speak to our teller on the website or via Yahoo Messenger (username: paymanila).
  • When is the Teller online?
  • The teller is usually online from 7am to 9am in the morning, and 6pm to 9pm in the evening, Manila time (+0800H GMT). If the teller is offline, you can always email us, paymanila@yahoo.com, and/or leave a message or request via email or YM offline message.
  • When will our request be processed?
  • The requests are processed twice a day - one in the morning and one in early evening. The requests made in the morning are completed the same day, while requests made in the evening are processed the next day.
  • Will our payments be safe with you?
  • PayManila prides itself for its honest, safe and fast service. The safety of your identity and your hard earned money is our primary concern, that's why we opt to put a person behind every transaction rather than automate the task and let a machine secure your money for you.   • I don't have a PayPal, what should I do?
  • For online transactions, it would also be best if you have a PayPal account you can use for faster transactions. You can open a PayPal account free, just click here. You need to have a credit card, or debit card to have it verified. For more questions regarding PayPal, you can contact us, and we will guide you thru the process. Eload/PrePaid Cards FAQ

  • What types of pre-paid cards are available?
  • Currently, our eLoad service can cater to Smart and Globe. We will be adding phone cards, online gaming cards and internet cards soon.
  • What amounts are available?
  • To see the list of pre-paid cards for Smart, Globe, and other cards for online gaming or pre-paid utilities available, along with their respective amounts, click here.
  • How long will the load reach me, my family or friends?
  • If our teller is online, your load will reach you within minutes. If our teller is offline and you made a payment via PayBill, it will reach you no longer than 12 hours. Click here for the schedule of the teller.

G-Cash to SmartMoney Exchange FAQ

  • How does the G-cash to SmartMoney and SmartMoney to G-Cash Work?
  • Exchanging G-cash to SmarMoney or vice versa is easy. All you need to do is send your request via YM (username: paymanila) and post three details 1) G-cash number, 2) SmartMoney number, 3) amount to be transferred in pesos.
  • Is there a limit to the G-cash or SmartMoney to Send?
  • You can send or exchange up to P5,000 per transaction.
  • What are the fees associated with our G-cash to SmartMoney Exchange?
  • A minimum fee of P20 is required for amounts up to P1,000. An increase of P2 for every increment of P100 will be added. Kindly check the fees here above for sample computations.
  • Can I send money from my bank to my G-Cash or SmartMoney?
  • Transfers from selected banks to your G-cash or SmartMoney account are also available for a fixed rate of P25 per transaction, plus fees above.

  • What is PayBill?
  • PayBill is an innovative six-step process that allows you to pay your utilities back home, regardless of where you are in the world.
  • Who can Pay through PayBill?
  • OFWs can benefit from PayBill to ensure the utilities bill of your family are paid every month. However, virtually anyone who are using services of the utility companies listed below can pay through PayBill.
  • What utilities can I pay through PayBill?
  • You can pay your Meralco, PLDT, Smart, Globe, Sun, Maynilad Waters, Destiny Cable and Sky Cable bills via PayBill, but make sure your statements are not yet due. PayBill can also help you with other types of utilities not listed here; just contact us and we will try to assist you in every way we can.
  • How can I pay?
  • We offer several methods of payment. USD payments can be sent via PayPal, Alertpay, MoneyBookers, or Liberty Reserve, while PHP payments can be completed by making an online bank transfer to our Unionbank savings account.
  • How much should I pay?
  • The payment depends on the current PHPUSD exchange rates, as published in our site, and the toolbar. Currency exchange rates are updated every two hours. We reserve the right to update the exchange rates published on our website at anytime. Requests and payments received are based on the exchange rate, at the time your funds are received. Payments made are subject to final acceptance by PayManila.
  • I checked the calculator today, the BUY RATES says 49.10. But when I entered 100$, and press GET, it gives a return of Php 4,464.49. Is something wrong here?
  • Nope, everything is perfectly correct. The rates you see (courtesy of BDO website) is for your guide only. The PayManila calculator has a built-in computation wherein some fees are computed already. So the amount that you'll get is the net amount that the PayPal in USD is worth.   • Why is there a fee deducted in the calculator?
  • The service fee is just minimal. It's a small price to pay, compared to the honest, fast and convenient service PayManila can offer you.
  • How long will the process take?
  • From the time that we receive your request, processing of payments may take up to two (2) business days. Be aware that PayManila we will not be held accountable if the payments do not reach before your bill's due date.

Verification FAQ

  • Do I really need to be verified with PayManila?
  • Before you can transact with PayManila, whether for our e-Load, PayBill or other services, you need to complete a one-time verification process. Once you have been verified, you can enjoy VIP treatment and lightning-fast services when transacting with PayManila.
  • What are the requirements for verification?
  • You need to send scanned copies of two (2) government-issued ID's using your verified PP or AP email to paymanila@gmail.com, with the subject "VERIFY ME" and your contact details (home address and telephone number) listed on the e-mail body. Your name and e-mail address should match the information provided by PayPal or AlertPay.
  • Why is there a need to get verified by PayManila, if we have verified PayPal and/or AlertPay accounts already?
  • The main reason is so that we will know we are transacting with the "real" owner of the verified PayPal and/or AlertPay account holder.
  • Can I avail of your services immediately after sending my requirements?
  • If our teller is online to check your information, you can use any of our services immediately. However, should our teller be offline, please wait within the next 12 hours for PayManila to complete your verification.
  • Will our identity be safe with you?
  • Every transaction made is treated with utmost secrecy. We value privacy very much, and your identity as well as your payment and all the transactions with us are safe. Your personal and order information will not be sold or shared with any one or any other web site under any circumstances.
  • If we get verified by PayManila, will the fees be waived?
  • The fees are just very minimal. Unfortunately, we can not waive the fees.

  • Who is behind PayManila?
  • PayManila is a joint project by Filipino Entrepreneurs to address the needs of the Filipinos in giving them avenues and tips in handling their Money safely and securely.
  • Can I use your Logo on our Site, Shirts and other paraphernalia?
  • For Promotional purposes yes you can, remember however that our logo is copyrighted under Designer Graphics 9, www.dg9.org and is protected by Driot Morale and the VARA Artists rights, this includes all logos, icons, colors and other graphics and images on this site unless explicitly stated. You need to send a cover letter requesting usage to Designer Graphics 9. Check our Disclaimer for more information regarding rights and usage.
  • Why Is the calculator rate Zero (P0.00) at the homepage?
  • Sometimes, there will be a slight delay in the calculation of rates. After you have clicked on GET!, kindly give it some time to display the results. If the rates still does not show properly, kindly refresh the page.
  • What is this PayManila toolbar for?
  • We suggest that you install the toolbar found here in your browser. It works for both IE and FireFox. There are a lot of important short cut links that will help you understand and enjoy the different services that PayManila offers. It also gives you a realtime update of the exchange rates, and a news ticker that keeps you informed of our latest updates, promos, and new services.
