Verify your Paypal Account Using SmartMoney Card

I was able to verify my paypal account using smartmoney, so I made a simple tutorial on how to do it.

Yes, I was able to verify my Paypal account using SmartMoney Card.

Here is what you need to do:

1. You need to have the new SmartMoney Card. White and light blue card with number that starts in 5299.

2. Your SmartMoney Card should be linked to your Smart SIM. (Check the SmartMoney usage manual on how to do it.)

3. Now, Login to your Paypal account and click Get Verified. You will be redirected to Link and Confirm your Debit Card page. Fill up the necessary information. Choose Mastercard for Cardtype , enter your SmartMoney Account Number and enter expiration of your SmartMoney Card. Don't press save and continue button yet, you have to unlock your Smartmoney Card first.

4. The next thing you need to do is to unlock your SmartMoney Card for online transaction. Go to Smart Menu, then Internet Txns and then choose Unlock. (If Internet Txns is not present in your Menu, just text INTERNET and send it to 343. You will receive a confirmation message that you have updated your SmartMoney Menu.) After you choose unlock, you will receive a text message that you have unlock
your SmartMoney Card for online transactions.


5. Now Press save and Continue button. You're SmartMoney will be charge $1.95. If registration is successful, you will receive a text message containing your PP EXPUSE. Enter that number on the confirmation page.

6. That's it, You now have a Verified Paypal Account.

Note: If you are unable to submit or linked your SmartMoney Card, it only means that your SmartMoney is still locked for internet transaction. Just repeat step 4.

tried it but no work., i enable online purchases but no work still., but it might work with other card i think., so i still say that goodluck for using smartmoney for verifying pp's
