You got yourself a free account on PayPal, but you can’t seem to get it verified?

Problem - you have no credit card, and your application for a new EON card is taking you more time than your patience can take?

Here’s the good news!  There IS AN ALTERNATE way to get your PayPal verified even without a credit card and EON!  It is the Unionbank (yes, from the same bank)  eWallet ATM card!  It is actually a debit card and ATM card that is linked to your Unionbank savings or current account.

PROs:
- easier and faster to get one
- it is a VISA debit card too, so you can use it to get yourself verified sa PayPal.
- it is an ATM card
- FREE to have one, no annual fee like EON

CONs:
- P10k to open a Unionbank savings
- same amount as maintaining balance
- P25k to earn interest

OR, ask someone to enrol you and give you a supplementary credit card.  Just be sure you can have an access to the statement of account, because the PayPal 4digit EXPUSE number will be printed in the billing statement.

Btw, I leave to our newest member, (representative of) UnionBank to expound on this matter.

Different products yun eWallet at EON, sa pagkaka alam ko.  Although both are classified under debit cards, and both are VISA.

EON - pre paid debit card
eWallet - ATM linked to your savings account

Mas ok kung sasagot sa iyo ang member natin na taga unionbank.   PM ko sya now.

Hi Guys, Wink

Eon Visa Electron and EWallet are both Debit Card and ATM attached to a regular saving account.

Being a debit card, you can use it to pay for your purchases at any VISA-accredited merchant in the country and around the world. The amount of your purchase is automatically deducted from the available balance in your Eon and EWallet Account.

Being an ATM Card, you can use it to withdraw money from any UnionBank or Megalink ATM in the country, and any VISA Plus ATM abroad. (EON is free on the first two UnionBank ATM withdrawals and a P10.00 fee for the 3rd and all succeeding on-us ATM withdrawals.   EWallet is free to all UnionBank ATM withdrawals and P12.00 for Non UnionBank ATM.)

However, for EWallet, the initial deposit and the minimum ADB requirement is P10, 000, for EON account, no initial deposit and maintaining balance, only the P350 annual fee.

For more details you may want to visit the site at https://www.unionbankph.com or follow us on twitter at http://www.twitter.com/unionbankph or check us out on our facebook at http://www.facebook.com/unionbankph.

Thanks! good
