Hi,

I am getting on forex trading again, and this is my own journal for my demo account.


Target:  20-0 wins
Aim:  10-15 pips per trade

So far, as of July 15, 2009:  2-0

Actually, under the strict guidance of Forex Master SirYuri90, di raw counted ang first 2 trades ko, dahil dapat GBPJPY lang daw ang demo ko.

Aba, di masama, kung ganoon lang ako katapang at ka aggressive, more than double my initial demo account of 5000usd na pala, after 5 wins.

So far, as of July 16, 2009:  5-0

Unfortunately, in my small live account, my record is not as good.  In fact, I think a little luck is indeed needed.  In my last position, I opened SELL for GY in my live account.  A split second later, I went to my demo account to do the same.  Whoa, the price of GY retraced by 30 pips!  But I still open the same type of position - SELL GY.   

Guess what happened?  My demo hit the TP 15pips, when my live is still in negative.  In the end, I have to SL my live with 30pips loss!!!   

Trading is easy ... not for me, yet!   But getting there, getting there!  More practice, patience, and skill to spot good trades?!?

Why are you risking your live account since you are just still practicing? Cguro u can use you live only kung cgurado ka sa signal.

Oo nga eh, pero small lots lang.  Next week, no live na uli.  First day ko uli mag live yesterday.  Won 22 pips same day with larger lot kasi, kaya ginanahan uli.

Pero this time, not until I finished my target of 20-0, will I go live again.

OUCH!  2 consecutive bad trades, and almost wiped out.   Now, I have to start all over again.   It went up to 9-0, then the 2 losses!?@?#$!

@Ping can you switch back and forth on you live trading and demo trading? Are you using only one computer for both? Kasi as far as I know kaya nga live tuloy tuloy dapat naka on yung live account mo all the time, right? Pag nag switch ka sa demo you are jeopardizing your live account lalo na kung may trade. What if the signal go against your trade and it wants to get out of the trade, how can it get out of the trade if you are on your demo account? Or if it has a good opportunity and wants to take the trade how can it trade if its off. As far as I know your live account has to be live all the time 24/5. That is why other traders use a forex VPS service so that they can make sure that their live account will be on 24/5 every week without shutting it down.

live account meant that he is using real money..but trading manually ,not using forex ea.. so he can switch from demo without problems..
