Yung strategy na gamit ko ngayon eh combination of EA (expert advisor) and manual confirmation.  Once metatrader has given me either a buy or sell signal, I will then analyze it for some time and if it looks okay, then I'll go ahead and make the trade.

One thing that's odd with my trading strategy is that it only has a 35%-45% winning record, pero I have a 1:4 ratio pag dating sa stoploss/take profit kaya it's still a profitable trade.

Read this article guys if you want to have an idea on why winning just 35% of your trades can still be a profitable strategy:  http://tinyurl.com/lruss5

One more thing na gusto ko i-suggest sa mga newbie traders who are reading this article eh NEVER look for the perfect strategy.  Ngayon palang sinasabi ko na sa inyo that it doesn't exist.  I might elaborate more on this in the future, pero one topic at a time muna tayo...   good

Happy Trading.   drinks

that's not odd.  that's typical for a lot of successful traders...  make that "long-time successful."

although, i know someone who has 50++% winning percentage and is a long-time successful trader.  Smiley

you're a real trader man!   drinks

couldn't agree more.  another  drinks to that.

oh, btw, 1st time poster.  go easy on me!  hehehe!

@ribbit

Nalasing ako dun ahh.. hehe.

But going back to the topic, I must say that you're right in saying that there's nothing wrong in using a strategy with only a 35% winning record.  Come to think of it, I guess we can conclude that a winning percentage is just a state of mind.

You can have a 30%, 40%, 50% strategy and still make a decent profit.  You can also have an airtight strategy (think martingale strategy) but still manage to blow up your account.  What's important is to always exercise discipline in each and every trade that we make.

One more for the road...   drinks

Happy trading.

today' s stat

not really mahirap

just knowing to stop and when delikado na account to lose

like now, stop "buy position" sa USDJPY too low na sya. <I can still go on trading until umaabot ang USDJPY ng 91.00> 230 pips from now

like I said, just know how much one can lose then ok na

<micro lang to ha, everything in cents, training pa rin ang inyong lingkod na baguhan>

Oo nga pala, pede combine bara-bara with other methods

I have been reading through the net about forex...

And I have learned one important thing.

If the new NFA rule takes into effect worldwide.

It means the end for my BBM method of trading...

grrrrrr.... <just when finally me effective na nagagamit na kong technique>

guess research na uli for other methods
